How to get Good Loot in Bounty Hunter/PVP Worlds

Posted by mike

This Guide offers the following

  • How to maximise loot potential.
  • How to do PVP tricks that return good amounts of money.
  • How PVP tricks can act as a transfer method.
  • A good technique on gaining effort points.

To Get effort Points you must first have a risk on your character. In P2P this risk needs to be above 76k, and in F2P it needs to be above 26k.

How to maximise loot potential:

First and for most Effort Points. Effort Points contribute to the chance of receiving good loot player killing (PKing) with more than 30% effort points can be advised. Now often people say, well EP is hard to get, you’re constantly watching the screen to ensure you have not died and lost your 26-76k risk, however, today I am going to show you a technique which is going to end this particular issue.  AFK EPing has never been easier follow the following steps

  • Go to the GE buy a wizard trimmed top.
  • Also buy black knifes
  • Go to a +1 bounty hunter world.
  • Place yourself in a position that cannot be hit by ice barrage or other long distant spells.
  • Set your character to auto attack, equip the knifes.
Now you’re probably wondering what will this do.  When a player comes to attack you, when your away from your key board, your character will throw the knife, which ordinarily would hold over the Wizard Trimmed top, this means for the time you had been EPing you had been EPing with a risk, but when you throw that knife and die in a bounty + 1 world you will keep the top – Good Game EP hunters.
Drop Potential: Often people state, well if I have a high EP, I will ultimately get more loot. I’m here to tell you EP is only 50% of the component taken into account when receiving loot. There is a hidden little thing known as ‘DP’ or Drop potential. Essentially Drop potential measures the following thing and gives loot accordingly
  • Total Risk
  • How many deaths have you endured and what have been the loses
  • Is the person killed on your friends list?
  • Did the person that was killed recently kill you?

Based on the above information, loot is distributed, hence, if you look at this criteria and twink it for when you do the PVP tricks discussed at the bottom you should maximise loot.

Player Versus Player Tricks

I’m sure all of us have seen players purposefully allowing themselves to die to another person in a ‘PVP trick’ then allowing the friend to then kill them. This doesn’t get good loot as when you kill the other person you simply get a revenge kill. So the person who gets the first kill wins, but the other person has basically wasted his/her money. What I would suggest doing is getting 3 individuals and tricking as follows: Player one kills player 2, player 3 Kills player 3, player 3 kills player one and enjoy your revenge free loot

Using PvP tricks as an unpredictable trade method:

If you have one account you haven’t used in years I suggest doing this in order to gain some wealth. First, ensure your EP is at 90% +.  Get your other account, with their total wealth, buy any of the following items

  • Whip
  • Dragon Claws
  • Dragon Boots
  • Rune items
  • God Amours

Take them to the wilderness, with full food, potions and everything. Create a staged fight, where one character over eats to the point it causes them to lose, and you rig the fight. This will enable you to get reasonable loot from them. For a more detailed guide on using this as a transfer method contact. Ysondra123@hotmail.com.

Merchanting in Runescape – Part 1

Posted by ysondra123

Hello everybody. I have decided to do my first post on merchanting, and various discussions that tends to come about with merchanting.  This guide, if you will, will have 4-5 components that will be released weekly.  The first one to be released is about merchanting clans.
This post will cover the following:
  • How merchanting clan’s work.
  • How to invest in an appropriate merchanting clan.
  • How to start a merchanting clan.
Basic’s on how Merchanting Clans Work:
  • Typically merchanting clans are made up of lots of members whom have a reasonably large combined wealth. Merchanting clans essentially act as a singular investment entity. A merchanting clan will all invest in one item, this then creates a falsified demand whilst restricting the supply hence it makes the price of the product go up.
  • The majority of merchanting clans will essentially rip off non ranked members. Basically at the top of the food chain, you have the clan leaders. These members buy the items before anyone else, this means they already have around 500 million – 2 billion GPS in stock before others start buying the item. The clan leaders then will notify the members of the item being merchanted. These ‘pawns’ pardon the expression then go to the Grand Exchange in order to buy the item. This then creates a further demand. Once these unranked finally get the item, contemplating the right time to dump the product is crucial. Merchanting clans create the falsified demand when they attempt to sell there product on the Grand Exchange it crashes the item. This means that the clan members whom are not in the inner circle ultimately get destroyed losing huge amounts of money.

How to invest in an appropriate merchanting clan:

  • The thing about investing in a merchanting clan is that it is an extremely risky business if you’re not ranked. So how does one play it safe when merchanting an item? Well the truth is playing safe involves dumping the item early.

  • Let’s take a quick analysis of the graph above: Now there are two things that went horribly wrong with this merchant, especially if you participated as a ‘pawn’ member in the clan. 1) Jagex did a manual up date, reducing the price of the item being merchanted, hence the double dip rise. 2) The merchanting clan leaders dumped the item, and it completely crashed the item. If you had this item, selling it would be nearly impossible, had you sold early you would have elevated this entire issue.
  • The truth is when investing in a merchanting clan you need to be cautious, when you start out, invest smaller amounts of money, because the truth is, you will lose out, and lose out large.
  • Alternative solutions; now assuming you invested in this product perhaps 10 million GPS, now, considering they started at 5k each, and rose to 130k rising approximately 25 times. This 10 million GP would turn into 250mil. Now, when the item crashes you contact your local gold seller, and they would most likely buy the 250 million in junk for around 50 dollars. It’s a cheaper alternative to buying gold. Opposed to paying 250 dollars you pay 50 dollars, not half bad.
How to start a merchanting clan:
  • Now starting a merchanting clan is no easy task. It involves a lot of hard work. A lot of money and a lot of experience.
  • First off: To start an effective merchanting clan, there should be a shared amount of around 3 billion GPS amongst the highest ranks. After this has been achieved which in all honesty isn’t the hardest task to achieve, granted every Tom, Dick and Harry has 500 million gps nowdays (more guides to be released on how to make gold).
  • Second thing to do: Get a script/bot that enables you to make 100s of accounts, using macro’s to advertise for the merchanting clan to get a big public following hopefully worth another 500-3 billion GPS.
  • Third thing to do: Research. Only certain items can be merchanted, you cannot merchant every item as certain items are 1) controlled by Jagex artificially 2) simply cannot be merchanted due to the quantity.  Let’s look at some items that have been merchanted
Amulets of Accuracy: First how are these items required? From a onetime quest, cannot be made… this means that if a merchanting clan had been consistently sniping these items they would essentially control the entire market, hence controlling price. This item is an example that represents an ideal item to be merchanted. This item, as shown went up fast and hard.
Examples of good items to merchant
  • Mystic Items – Semi Rare/easily accessible.
  • Amulets of Accuracy
  • Orange tree seeds
  • Various other rare seeds
  • Limproots
  • Certain stones.

If you control a powerful merchanting clan you can use items that are seasonally more expensive, for instance dragon arrows go up substantially in the summer as the children begin to play more games…. This means if you control the item before this stage you can charge 10 times the price you normally could, getting the item to this price reasonably quick. The other thing one can do is with an item such as a strength amulet. It is needed by all when pking and just playing in general.
You buy out all the materials required to make this item. Then You buyout the item itself, then you get your bot to craft these items. The merchanting clan that merchanted power amulets did this, making several mil per hour + great xp associated with crafting these items.
  • Now, at current I will be making a rather large merchanting clan, for the purpose of making guides. If you’re interested, please contact me on mmobay.net, my aim is purepk244 & msn ysondra123[at]hotmail.com
  • I will be making guides basically one every aspect of the game
  • I have lots of runescape experience.
  • Plenty of merchanting experience.

Dupes? Bots? Do they even exist?

Posted by Soulblade102

Over the course of the last 6-7 years, the emergence of MMORPG’s and online gaming has been immense. Many many games have come out, and while some became very successful, others ended up becoming wasted money. Either way, the games that did survive the initial onslaught of bad reviews and criticisms by skeptics became a battleground for players. Everyone is racing and battling to reach the top. Some form guilds to help each other, others grind all day and night to reach their goals. As you can see, this becomes a very painful task. Imagine wanting to reach level 80 in world of warcraft, but yet you feel like it takes forever. How about when you want to buy that party hat or new third age armor?

Don’t worry, its crossed all our minds at one point or another. So do hacks and dupes really exist? I know from personal knowledge that less than a year ago, botting was a very prevalent.  Players began looking for RuneScape cheats or RuneScape hacks. Some did have luck cheating in games such as RuneScape, which lead to even bigger ambitions, you can read about an example in our other article about the dark side of runescape cheating. Let me say that bots did in fact exist at one point, but now selling gold in RuneScape is nearly impossible. All the major runescape gold sellers have now shut down, but this cost jagex many many players.

There are however legitimitate ways to leveling up and obtaining items, many players began to look for RuneScape tips, RuneScape money guides, RuneScape quest guides. Many of these players prevailed and these are the types of players that didn’t get banned. So to sum up this article, bots and dupes DID exist at one point.

About Old RuneScape Cheats

Posted by Soulblade102

Its no surprise to most of us that every game can be cheated in one way or another. RuneScape is no exception, some of the newer players may think that RuneScape always had been this secure and free from cheats and whatnot. But this isn’t the case. There were plenty of methods that i will discuss below that were used to cheat in RuneScape.

RuneScape Bots came in all types and sorts. There were Auto Miners, Auto woodcutters, and so forth. In general, there were many different ways to automate your character and make money. To not get in trouble from anyone, (especially jagex), i am not going to go into detail on what other existing programs there are that are still being used.

1. RuneScape Money Making. Yes! You can become a millionare in RuneScape too, and you don’t have to lose your life to do it, or cheat or buy gold. Just simply pick a goal, such as 99 woodcutting and go for it. Do about an hour a day, and in 6-7 months, you’ll be very very rich. And come on, we both know you’ll be playing for far longer than that.

2. Free RuneScape Membership. Yes yes, in this day and age, everything is free somewhere. You can obtain free runescape memberships. But don’t expect me to point to anywhere
