Sharing is the theme of this quick post, and boy-oh-boy do I have some fun stuff to share with you! In my free time today I managed to finish up a dynamic signature script I had begun a while back and forgotten about. You should be able to use these on most forums, as they are in .png format (tell me if you would prefer another format, and I’ll see what I can do
). In any event, here are the ones I have created thus far:
TRB: Early Impact
Well, I’m sorry - there will be no deep words of wisdom or critical thoughts in this post. No, I’m simply writing to congratulate (and thank!) everyone that has made The RuneScape Blog (TRB) such a success so quickly! We are receiving hundreds of visitors every day, and the subscribers list is growing and growing. What makes TRB unique from the other RuneScape and general MMORPG blogs out there is that we have no set staff of writers, but rather, our entries are hand selected from submissions. Because of this we are able to boast such variety of contributors, from the top of the hiscores (Empror1 & Deja Vu Xiii) to former RuneScape cheaters (ThirdEyeBlind) - leaving you with content that is unique and… well, interesting!
Jagex Vs. Fansites
Ever since the dark ages of RuneScape, and even more so since the release of RuneScape 2, fansites have been saving Jagex’s ass. As head content developer for RuneCrypt, I have seen quite a few things about how tipsites are forced to function, that I never would have suspected in my 3 year history as a normal tipsite visitor prior to becoming a member of the staff. Programming an easy to use, useful system without breaking any rules becomes harder and harder with each update that Jagex releases. Let me cite a few examples…
