The RuneScape Blog was the brainchild of Soulblade102, the owner of RuneSociety. Blogging was one of the only areas’ in RuneScape media that had still yet to be conquered by a team of RuneScape specialists, and so with a small team assembled and the backing of two great fan sites, the project was started.

We have a very straightforward mission here, which could be summed up by saying that our goal is to provide the RuneScape populous with the most accurate, interesting information about RuneScape possible. What does that mean? It means that on The RuneScape Blog, you can expect to find insight into areas of RuneScape that have never been considered closely before, or that have been thought about but never had those thoughts consolidated to a single resource. Secondly, it means that we will only bring you the highest quality content, and attempt to analyze every facet of the game, as written by the most experienced player possible. And lastly, we will provide a service that is updated constantly and contains open discussion on the topics that you, the readers, want to hear about. To sum up these goals we use a triple V acronym: Value, Variety, and Voice.
