Robots don’t get Carpal Tunnel
Jagex has always had a smear campaign against autoing/macroing/botting. Most players listen to them and their warnings of “If you do it, we will catch you, and you will be banned.” Out of fear for their precious accounts, people don’t even look for cheats.
I want to tell you otherwise.
I have played RuneScape for roughly 4 years. It will be 5 this June, not counting the breaks I have taken. For most of those 4 years, I was the model player. I reported players when I thought it was neccessary, I didn’t break rules (except swearing, but hey, that’s been lifted a bit) and most of all, I didn’t bot. RuneScape was never really boring. I was a member for most of the time, and so I had plenty to do. RuneScape was good.
Shortly before 2008 breathed its last breath, I re-kindled a friendship with an old mate. He introduced me to sites such as Sythe and Fagex, and taught me the art of scamming. Together we scammed two accounts, and several membership PINs. Sythe and Fagex also have a RSBot section, and I looked through it and eventually downloaded RSBot.
I wish I had done it sooner. RSBot is easily the best thing I have done in my RuneScape career. I am botting right now! Jagex claims they will find you, and yet in 3+ months of near constant botting, I have not been warned nor banned.
As the title proclaims, robots don’t get Carpal Tunnel. If RuneScape is getting boring, you can do what I always did, and take a break. Alternatively, you can take the step and get RSBot. You will never be the same.

What website did you download it off of? I know that some sites deliberately make their program recognizable to get you banned, so you must have chosen one of the few authentic bot sites.
You are correct in assuming that it is extremely unlikely for Jagex to detect a bot using computer software, as usually the bot is in your computer, not the RS system. However, Moderators are always on the lookout for botters, so be careful. They may ask you questions.

I’m not worried about Moderators. I’ve seen maybe 10 total during the 5 years I’ve played, and all of them were P2P moderators. I don’t think they’d bother look at me in F2P.

No- you’re wrong in saying they don’t look out for botters. I’ve seen the Jagex Moderator Department deploy P mods on the scene at raw-resource deposits like mines and fishing holes. In fact, I once even saw some guy get pulled over and questioned to make sure he wasn’t botting by a P mod.
I generally keep the window open, or at least I’m at my computer whenever I do it, and I’ll check every 10 minutes or so.
Even if I get banned, I don’t care. I’m going to sell all my accounts eventually.

TRSB is meant to encompass all parts of Runescape. Botting is a large part of RuneScape, and nothing will change that.

Andrew Gower himself said that he can never stop botters. Runescape will always have bots like it or not.
First of all, Jagex does not detect botters through detecting the bot itself on your computers. It is based around surviellance (can’t think of the right word) and they watch your account and the patterns you are making. If you are reported and Jagex follows your patterns in clicking, time played, etc simple things like that, that is how they ban you. As Abdul said, Jagex will never be able to stop botters, if you’re smart about it. If you 24hour bot or get caught in a random doing nothing for 5 hours, that’s how your gonna get caught.

Jagex doesnt detect bots but senses the movements/actions.

Hey Otter,
I remember having my mate sleep over and we had two pure F2P accounts. I downloaded the RSbot and we checked it during the night to make sure it wasn’t stuck anywhere or if we were being questioned by a Moderator.
It did indeed work very well but you always go against that roll of the risk dice, depending what number you land on relates to the chance of being caught. I shallnt be using it again as I am indeed trying to be an extremely fair player. Good post though.

Rsbotting has came along way since then, the only reason i bot is to fk up rs’s economy, because they already did it them selves, by adding the GE prices are manipulated by high lvl mains with money. and what can i do? bot 99 hunt on 10 accounts n 1 month and sell all the chins at lowest, good by 99 range it’ll be easy now ^.^

I personally bot once in awhile but i never go for hours and hours at a time, if im botting i just play xbox in the same room to make sure i don’t get questioned or stuck in a random. just be careful, anyone could get caught

Seems like quite a few xbox enthusiasts here, I am a fan too and like to play games… my girl says I play too much, but man it’s so pleasant. I’ve been playing modern warfare and halo 3 for weeks and can’t quit! What would you gamers recommend? At any rate, looks like a nice site, is this wordpress?
