Construction was desined to be the giant money hole that it is. 1500gp to turn 1 mahogany log into a plank definitely adds up.

And you're right about Summoning. What gets me is that it was stated that it wasn't designed to be a money hole skill like Construction is. But in the end, it is. Those shards start to add up when you get around mid level.

Also, there's the daily pay that your kingdom takes for harvesting materials for you.

You are referring to cash sinks. Here are a few of the other sinks for you:

Banning: This one is obvious. There are millions daily lost on banned accounts. Gold farmers in particular are targeted and tend to have a lot of gold on one account.

Shops: This isn't so big any more, but it used to be huge before the GE, especially rune and arrow shops.

Barrows: Let's say there were 10,000 sets out there on average, and that they had to be repaired three times every month (about 1.5 hours of combat training per day). 10,000 sets * 3 times * 1 month * 330k gp/time = 9.9bil gp drained.

Farming: Farmer payments are very expensive and in general not necessary. Why? The payments are worth more than a seed. Only about 1 in 10 trees die, so you have to multiply the cost by 10.

Here is another article on the topic from Duke Freedom, you can see I paraphrased part of it:
